Extraordinary performance from our latest new emergency services blue tactical safety light - the 'Microlight'

The Microlight is designed to be worn and used by emergency services personnel in low light working conditions, to enhance safety and the visible presence of police officers during operational deployment.

It's amazingly compact and weighs less than 7 grams, yet can operate for up to 6 hours on its most efficient slow blink setting, with an exceptionally bright light output. Its output has to be seen to be fully appreciated, its effectiveness in low light working conditions outperforms all previous models and anything else of a comparable size at this price.

The light is rechargeable removing the need for replacement batteries and has a quick charge capability that can restore it to full charge in less than 20 minutes if using a mains power source.

A USB charging cable is supplied as standard allowing the unit to be charged by any USB port including in-vehicle power points. A red indictor light shows when charging and goes off when the unit is fully charged.

With multiple flashing modes the unit in its emergency services setting emits a bright blue flashing or solid light via its two, high output LED’s that incorporate the latest technology to keep them bright yet highly efficient in terms of power consumption.

The two LED’s provide an element of redundancy in the unlikely event of an LED failure and side mounted viewing ports allow light to escape to either side of the Microlite so enhancing the visible side on presence of a wearer.

The extremely lightweight nature of the Microlight means that fixing it to PPE and equipment can be achieved simply by means of velcro style material, with no heavy batteries to unseat the Microlite, it will stay in place with no need for any other fixing accessories, this reduces cost and frees up other specialised mounting points for heavier pieces of kit.

We supply 3 pairs of self-adhesive velcro style pads, with most emergency services kit having an abundance of velcro style material, Microlites can be located where their light output is most beneficial.

The light is so versatile it’s not just a person that can benefit, dog handlers can illuminate their dogs when off the lead. They are ideal for mounted horse and police bicycle units, drones too if a supplementary light is required and with multiple flashing colour options, operators can identify their kit from others simply by selecting a colour or flash pattern of their own.

The Microlite is also an ideal light to attach to a helmet, the user will not be hindered by weight, multiple units can be deployed with different setting for example a solid white light output to the from illuminates near to hand equipment with a different setting to the rear identifying a team or team leader.

Two fixing points allow the Microlite to be fixed using elasticated bands, we supply 2 pairs of small elasticated band that stretch to about 4cms. Operators can obviously use their own fixing bands where appropriate and we know users who utilise zip ties that can be released to attach to large pieces of kit where necessary.
